For Social Distancing
GRIPMetal makes it easy to create temporary walls and enclosures for social distancing, that have the strength and feel of permanent structures.
This Lego®-like functionality has been used by Kingsway College, Royal St. George’s College, St. John’s Kilmarnock School and Toronto Montessori School to bring students back to the classroom by creating new learning spaces.
“Schools across the world are focused on how to bring students back in the safest, smartest way and GRIPBlock has proven to be an ideal solution for challenging times,” said Tye Farrow, Senior Partner, Farrow Partners Architects. “GRIPBlock structures offer strength, convenience and versatility – in a simple-to-deploy – package in demand now for schools at all levels.
When Etobicoke’s Kingsway College needed a fast and affordable solution to allow for a safer return, they turned to GRIPBlock for its rapid deployment, strength and company service. In less than two days, the Kingsway gymnasium was transformed into four new classrooms large enough to accommodate students and social distancing.
GRIPBlock offers a white-glove service that includes setup, maintenance and removal for schools and other organizations searching for a means of turning large, empty (and in today’s environment, underutilized) areas into useful facilities.
